TPC of Louisiana Golf Club
11001 Lapalco Boulevard
Avondale, LA
70094
Situated on 250 acres across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, the TPC of Louisiana was designed by a man who knows how to turn a site with limited topography into a beautiful and compelling test of golf, Pete Dye.
A 7,300-yard, par-72 golf course that will sit low on the property and utilize natural vegetation, including numerous cypress trees. One of the most attractive features to the property is that it’s self-contained, surrounded on three sides by drainage canals.
The course will offer four sets of tees, and even though the championship course stretches to 7,300 yards from the championship tees, Dye is pleased about a collection of short but challenging par-4 holes that complement some of the longer ones. Some 20 acres of the 80-plus acres of playing area will be covered in sand. What water hazards that exist will have been created.
