Wildcat Golf Club – Highlands Course

1200 Almeda Road
Houston, TX
77045

The Highlands Course and the Lakes Course were built specifically to be of equal difficulty. Both offer challenges and both are fair to golfers of all skill levels. It comes down to personal preference.

The Highlands Course, which opened just a few short months before the Lakes Course, is more of a links golf experience. The danger for a golfer’s errant shots lie in the high native grasses and the numerous bunkers. Rolling fairways coupled with fast greens give golfers the feeling of playing in Scotland, the home of golf.

And while the course may feel like one overseas, it is unmistakable that you are in Houston. The Highlands Course offers panoramic views of the city, from the Galleria area to the Medical Center to Reliant Park to Downtown. It’s breathtaking.

From Downtown:
Take Highway 288 South for approximately five miles. Exit Loop 610 West and take the Fannin exit. Make a U-turn under Loop 610 and proceed East on access road to Almeda Road. Turn right on Almeda and go three miles to the Wildcat entrance.

From the Galleria Area:
Get on Loop 610 South and it will curve into Loop 610 East. Go approximately three miles and take the Almeda Road exit. Turn right on Almeda and go three miles to the Wildcat entrance.

From Hobby Airport Take Airport :
Drive East to Monroe. Turn left on Monroe to I-45 North. From I-45 North, take 610 West and exit on Fannin. Make a U-turn under Loop 610 and proceed East on the access road to Almeda Road. Turn right on Almeda and travel three miles to the Wildcat entrance.
