The centerpiece of Achasta Golf Clubs friendly and active community is our 6,995-yard, par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, formerly Nicklaus Course at Birch River, ideal for walking.
Golfers will enjoy a challenging yet playable masterpiece, with lush fairways and bent grass greens that roll gently past beautiful views of the Chestatee River and the surrounding mountains. The river plays a major role on over half of the holes, with a unique, island fifth-hole.
Home of the PGA Tours 2007 AT&T Classic Qualifier, 2002-2006 Bell South Classic Open Qualifier, 2002 Georgia State Amateur Qualifier, 2003 US Open Qualifier and the 2004 Georgia State Mid-Am Qualifier, the course also features a clubhouse with casual dining, practice facility, pro shop and a member swim and tennis center.

The fourth green, the unique fifth hole, and the sixth tee play entirely on an island in the river.
Achasta Golf Club provides its Members and daily fee guests with the finest in golf as well as social and business dining. The Club is complete with a practice facility, including chipping and putting greens. A full service Pro Shop and men and womens locker room complete the golf experience.
Inside the Clubhouse, the Main Dining Room and Grill Lounge are perfectly suited for both the informal and formal dining experiences. For more intimate groups, our Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 20 guests.
